What is Odoo?
Odoo is business management software that replaces the scattered spreadsheets and disconnected programs your company runs on today with one single system.
An ERP: your whole company in one place
Most companies sell in one program, invoice in another, track stock in a spreadsheet and keep the accounting somewhere else. Nothing talks to each other, so the same data is typed three times and nobody is sure which number is the right one.
An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a single system where sales, inventory, invoicing, accounting, payroll and customers live together and share the same information. Odoo is an ERP — and the one with the widest adoption in the world, with more than twelve million users.
In practice: a salesperson confirms an order, the warehouse instantly sees what to ship, the invoice is generated with its taxes and withholdings, and the accounting entry is posted on its own. One action, no re-typing.

One sale, one flow
This is the same order moving across the company. In Odoo it is a single chain; without an ERP it is four programs and three people copying data.
1. The customer accepts the quotation
The salesperson sends it from Odoo and the customer approves it online. It becomes a sales order automatically.
2. The warehouse ships
The delivery order appears in Inventory with the right products, and available stock is updated in real time.
3. Invoicing issues the document
The invoice comes out of the same order, with its taxes, VAT withholding, IGTF and the correlative numbers required in Venezuela.
4. Accounting is already posted
The journal entry is generated on its own and feeds the sales ledger and the financial reports. Nobody re-types anything.
5. Management sees the result
Sales, margin, stock and cash flow are live on a dashboard — the same day, not at month end.

What everyone asks when they hear about Odoo
Is Odoo only for large companies?
No. Because it is modular, a company with three people can start with Sales and Invoicing alone and keep adding apps as it grows. The same system serves a small business and a group with several branches.
What is the difference between Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise?
Community is the free open-source edition. Enterprise is the paid one and adds studio, advanced accounting features, mobile apps, official support and version upgrades. We implement both and advise you on which one fits your case.
Does Odoo work for Venezuela?
Odoo on its own is not enough for Venezuelan tax law, which is why we build the local layer: IGTF, VAT and income tax withholding with vouchers in the SENIAT format, purchase and sales ledgers, fiscal printers and Bs/USD accounting at the BCV rate.
Do I need to install anything on each computer?
No. Odoo runs in the browser. Whoever has permission can work from the office, from home or from a mobile phone, on the same live data.
Do I have to move my whole company at once?
No, and we do not recommend it. We usually start with the area that hurts most — normally sales and invoicing — and add the rest in stages, so the operation never stops.
What does it cost to get started?
The cost has two parts: the licence (zero on Community, per user and per app on Enterprise) and the implementation service. The initial consultation is free and ends with a written figure, with no commitment.
